Chapter 8
Good day to all of you dear friends! I know the last two chapters were kind of exhausting but I just needed to share the story with you. I hope you were not too sad about it and that you were inspired to share more love with each other out there. I was thinking hard and long what could be the subject of this chapter and I figured – we need to talk about something cool and fun that will cheer us all up. So, buckle up and let’s go to the new story!
As many of you are aware we dogs don’t really like to be dressed up we can also agree that our parents get a bit crazy over that and we have no other option but to indulge them but also, we look pretty damn cool and adorable wearing cloths. Having said that, my mom is always buying me new cloths and she likes to take a million pictures of me wearing them. I don’t mind since she has great taste and I look stunning. I am going to take you through my fashion show as I like to call it.
My mom had in her collection a skull chain and one day she decided she was over it but then she looked at me and said ” You are a bulldog and I think you will look though with this chain and everybody will get a bit scared of you but lets just see how it fits you. “ She then put that chain around my neck and took a picture. You can be the judge of that but let me tell you something – my mom was not wrong. I look so cool and like a true badass. See for yourself…
The next thing I have to brag about is this gorgeous blue bow tie. I don’t really remember what was the occasion but I believe it was someone’s birthday and I had to look like a gentleman that I am. Only this time, my grandma bought this bow tie for me, but my mom prepared me for the photoshoot. Now you tell me, don’t I look so handsome?
Now listen, my mom and dad they love to go shopping especially if there will be something cute for me. All jokes aside, my mom is obsessed with tiny cloths and whenever she finds something that she is absolutely sure I will look fine in it she has to have it. No matter the money or time spent on the search. She enjoys it and like I mentioned before I let her dress me up because I love her and if that makes her happy, well it makes my little heart happy too. So, this one time they went on the shopping spree and my mom found a Jack Skellington shirt and of course she had to buy it for me but the funny part was while she has been looking for that, one older lady approach her and asked her ” So, how old is your child? ” And my mom, with total seriousness said ” Almost 3 years old. “ Then the old lady was like ” Oh, have you seen these overalls, maybe that will fit him too. What is your boy’s name? ” And my mom said my name and the lady was confused a bit so my mom said ” It is not a human child it is for my baby dog. ” The lady made a face – you guys surely know what kind of faces make people who are not only confused but kind of repelled by what my mom said and she just left, speechless. It was so funny my mom had to tell that story to everybody and everyone laughed hard. My mom is the best; I am telling you!
If I could laugh like you humans I would laugh to the next one. My mom wanted to buy a little dress for my sister NeMachka the cat, so I think it was at the same time while she was picking up that Jack Skellington shirt for me and she wanted to cheer the cat up as well. The only problem is NeMachka is rather small and the dress was too big for her. What happened with the dress you may ask? I got to wear it but just for the sake of picture and that was the end of the dress. I mean I am a tough boy not a little girl…
One year I got a present for New Years Eve – in the box was a ball, a bone and some sort of a collar with small bells to jingle all the way. Naturally, I chewed the bone as fast as possible, I played a bit with a ball but my mom was super excited for the collar. Another snap snap with her phone so she can brag to everyone how adorable I look. And I really do look adorable. Just look at me and you will melt too just like my mom.
The winter approached and my grandma said I needed a new sweater so she went to the pet shop near by her home and got me one. It is gray and so soft and I wear it with all my pride and joy because for some reason that color is awesome. You can clearly see me strutting.
I have a question for all of you and I am sure you know the answer. Do you know how and why I got my name – Ozzy? Well, if you know good for you if you don’t know let me explain. So, my mom listens to the band Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne who was the frontmen of that band. She literally adores Ozzy Osbourne including his entire family. Since he was the living legend and she loved him and his name she named me after him. This is something to be very proud about. In our flat in Novi Sad, we have the huge framed picture of Ozzy and she has a figurine of him and a glass and what not. But the one thing that stands out are the glasses. If you are well aware of Sir Ozzy ’s glasses you know what I mean. She had to get me those too. She also bought one pair for NeMacka so we can have something in common, ha ha ha! Now, I don’t mean to bum you up but Ozzy Osbourne died and that was one of the hardest things that hit my mom. She has been crying her eyes out for the entire week. And every now and then when we are in our flat, she would look at that framed picture and say Rest in Piece legend. I just thought it was nice to mention this.
I think the next item was actually bought in the kids’ section in some mall. It is plushy and soft as a cotton ball. It is THE GRINCH sweatshirt. It was a bit big for me, I wore it a couple of times and for the photoshoot of course, but then I think that ended up at my grandma’s home so I can have it on in colder days when I am spending some time there.
I have more to show and tell but we will have to make a part two of this chapter, I think. Or better yet the next part will be included in the next chapter. Anyhow, I hope you had some fun with my own fashion show, I hope this wasn’t too much and I will prepare more cute outfits for the next time. Have a lovely day and don’t forget to spread love and joy no matter where you at. Byeeeee!
